Overview
The video-to-GIF optimization assistant is used to answer questions such as "How do I convert this video to GIF?", video conversion, GIF optimization, and media processing. It is suitable for marketing, product, technical, and software use after clarifying business goals, content materials, or analysis targets. It will combine video-to-GIF requirements and paste the conversion requirements to be handed to the "video-to-GIF optimization assistant" this time, including clipping... and other inputs, organize key context, and output GIF conversion parameter suggestions, FFmpeg conversion commands, GIF artifacts, or quality checklists, making it easy to continue execution, review, or deliver.
When to Use
Applicable Scenarios
- The user asks questions such as "How do I convert this video to GIF?" and needs to quickly break down the goal, determine priorities, and form executable results
- Marketing, product, technical, and software need to generate GIF conversion parameter suggestions, FFmpeg conversion commands, GIF artifacts, or quality checklists around the video-to-GIF optimization assistant
- The user has already prepared the clipping interval and loop method (specify the desired start time, duration, whether to loop, and whether to preserve the complete action or highlight key steps.), GIF usage scenario (specify the page, document, email, social media, chat, or product demo... that the output of the "video-to-GIF optimization assistant" should serve), video link (fill in a publicly accessible link; if the link requires login, permissions, or cookies, please upload a file or paste... instead), and wants it organized into executable analysis or optimization results
- The user needs to turn materials related to the video-to-GIF optimization assistant into clear conclusions, priorities, and next actions
How to Invoke
Call the AI Skills API directly through the exported Python runner:
Command Examples
Basic Invocation
python3 scripts/run.py --params '{}'
Invocation with Common Parameters
python3 scripts/run.py --params '{"goal":"截取区间与循环方式"}'
Parameter Description
| Parameter | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
goal |
string | No | - | Specify the desired start time, duration, whether to loop, and whether to preserve the complete action or highlight key steps |
audience |
string | No | - | Specify the page, document, email, social media, chat, or product demo scenario that the output of the "video-to-GIF optimization assistant" should serve |
materialUrl |
string | No | - | Fill in a publicly accessible link; if the link requires login, permissions, or cookies, please upload a file or paste content instead; a complete accessible URL is required |
materialFile |
string | No | - | Upload the mp4, mov, or webm video file to be converted into a GIF; if the environment can access the video and FFmpeg, a GIF artifact can be delivered |
materialText |
string | No | - | Paste the conversion requirements to be handed to the "video-to-GIF optimization assistant" this time, including clipping time, target size, frame rate, loop count, purpose, and file size limit |
brandRequirements |
string | No | - | Supplement the target width, frame rate, file size upper limit, dither preference, HDR tonemap requirements, or manual review focus |

Parameter values reference
The current skill has no classification parameters that require additional lookup.
Supported input formats
The current skill directly accepts JSON parameters; if the parameters contain a link field, please pass a complete, accessible URL.
Example request
The example parameters below can be passed directly to scripts/run.py, and the runner will send them to the AI Skills API.
python3 scripts/run.py --params '{"goal":"截取区间与循环方式"}'
Equivalent --params JSON:
{
"goal": "截取区间与循环方式"
}
Example return result
{
"success": true,
"data": {
"message": "示例结果请以技能真实返回结构为准。"
},
"meta": {
"executionTime": 842,
"cached": false
}
}
Deliverables
- GIF conversion parameter recommendations, FFmpeg conversion commands, GIF artifact or quality checklist: organize core results around the user's goal that can be directly read, reviewed, or delivered.
- Interpretation of input materials: combine the capture interval and loop method (explain the desired start time, duration, whether to loop, and whether to retain the complete action or highlight key steps.), the GIF use scenario (explain the page, document, email, social media, chat, or product demo that the "Video to GIF Optimization Assistant" output should serve...), and the video link (fill in a publicly accessible link; if the link requires login, permissions, or cookies, please upload a file or paste... instead) to extract key context and judgment basis.
- Next steps: provide priorities, execution suggestions, or a content framework that can be further processed.
Suggestions for using the results
- First determine whether the output answers the user's core question about the "Video to GIF Optimization Assistant".
- Then check whether the result covers GIF conversion parameter recommendations, FFmpeg conversion commands, GIF artifact or quality checklist, and whether it provides clear next steps.
- If the input materials are insufficient, it is recommended to have the user supplement the goal, audience, constraints, or original materials before running.
