Hotfix Workflow

Start the hotfix flow for production incidents,hotfix/* and guide from branch creation to patch release confirmation.

Preflight

• git status --short is empty
• main branch exists
• gh auth status succeeds

What will be executed

1. Prerequisite check
2. main from hotfix/* branch creation
3. Present steps for fix, quality check, PR creation, and release confirmation

How to use

Pattern A: Specify an issue number

./scripts/release/create-hotfix.sh 42
# -> hotfix/42

Pattern B: Specify a description

./scripts/release/create-hotfix.sh fix-critical-bug
# -> hotfix/fix-critical-bug

Pattern C: Interactive

./scripts/release/create-hotfix.sh

Flow after fixing

# 1) 修正実装
git add .
git commit -m "fix: 緊急修正の説明"

# 2) 品質チェック
make quality-checks

# 3) プッシュ + PR
git push -u origin hotfix/xxx
gh pr create --base main --head hotfix/xxx \
  --title "fix: 緊急修正の説明" \
  --label "hotfix,auto-merge"

# 4) リリース確認
gh release view

Notes

• Do not include changes other than the urgent fix
• Conventional Commits で fix: use the prefix
• After merging to main, a patch version (e.g., v1.2.4) is created automatically
