When to use this skill

  • Read QQ Mail inbox
  • Search emails from a specific sender/subject
  • Reply to emails (English/Chinese)
  • Send new emails
  • View email details (body, attachment information)

Prerequisites

  1. IMAP/SMTP service is enabled for QQ Mail
  2. Authorization code has been stored in pass：
    • pass show email/qq/<邮箱地址> or
    • pass show email/qq/<QQ号>

Server configuration

Protocol Server Port SSL
IMAP imap.qq.com 993 ✅
SMTP smtp.qq.com 465 ✅ SSL
SMTP smtp.qq.com 587 ✅ STARTTLS

Usage

1. Read recent emails

python3 ~/clawd/skills/qq-email-operator/scripts/qq_email.py list --account REDACTED_EMAIL --limit 10

2. Search for specific emails

python3 ~/clawd/skills/qq-email-operator/scripts/qq_email.py search --account REDACTED_EMAIL --from "vince@example.com"
python3 ~/clawd/skills/qq-email-operator/scripts/qq_email.py search --account REDACTED_EMAIL --subject "keyword"

3. Read email body

python3 ~/clawd/skills/qq-email-operator/scripts/qq_email.py read --account REDACTED_EMAIL --id 948

4. Reply to email

python3 ~/clawd/skills/qq-email-operator/scripts/qq_email.py reply \
  --account REDACTED_EMAIL \
  --id 948 \
  --body "Your reply text here" \
  --sender-name "Daniel Li"

5. Send new email

python3 ~/clawd/skills/qq-email-operator/scripts/qq_email.py send \

Notes

  • Authorization code ≠ QQ password; it must be generated separately in QQ Mail settings
  • Connecting to QQ Mail from overseas servers may require a proxy
  • For SMTP sending, port 465 (SSL) is recommended
  • Replies automatically set the In-Reply-To and References headers to maintain the email thread
